Job Description

Technological Innovations Group (TIG) is currently looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets for Crestron.

Crestron is the leading provider of control and automation systems for offices, schools, hospitals, hotels and more. The success of Crestron is based on a total commitment to delivering the highest quality product.

As a Business Development Manager, you are able to understand the technical side of our business and can translate this into a total Crestron design for our customers.

You will be responsible to build and maintain good contacts with existing customers and finding new end user prospects.

  • Report identified business and projects on weekly basis to the Regional Director.
  • Identify new potential business in line with prospect criteria (B-to-B)
  • Meet quarterly and yearly defined sales targets
  • Acquire new business by arranging new visits and follow-up sales leads
  • Work out projects in line with requirements from the market (find new projects, explore the possible solutions and convert towards Crestron Technical Sales)
  • Build long term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Take ownership of the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the sales cycle
  • Generate reports on the progress in areas of sales and business development
  • Report agenda, forecast and pipeline in Salesforce
  • Learn and evolve continuously on new technologies for solution-minded projects
  • Keep up to date with new business opportunities and competitors

Job Requirements

  • Experience in sales, a real hunter
  • Experience and knowledge of the AV & IT market with good contacts in the top 50 businesses in your region
  • Negotiation skills, ability to establish relationships
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
  • Able to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Creative, responsible and self-motivated
  • Commercial and technical mindset, be passionate about our product
  • Open minded and a real team player
