Job Description

Technological Innovations Group (TIG) is currently looking for a Sales Engineer (SE) to support the sales team as the technical expert in Italy.

Its role is to support the Regional Sales Managers to introduce and support the Crestron products in the respective territories.

Its performance is measured by the success of sales and strategy in the respective territories.



  • Within TIG and Crestron we host a large number of trainings we want our partners to complete to ensure they deliver A grade projects to their customers. Hosting these trainings (web based, onsite and in class) is an important portion of your day to day work.
  • Assist partners in the design and specification phases of their projects. This includes:

Establish a close link with the technical teams of our Partner integrators

Analyze their technical needs through a permanent technical dialogue and frequent visits

Validate the final configuration (including the communication of these elements to the

internal support organization which provides the price offer to the client) and consider any

changes before the order

Follow up on projects during and after install to reassure customer satisfaction


  • Introduce (New) technology to potential customers (both end user and partners) who may have an application but have not yet acquired sufficient knowledge or skills to make a decision. The Sales Engineer will host training sessions and / or demonstrations to accomplish this.


  • Help (potential) customers understand, compare, and contrast the solutions that are available for buying (the pre-sales role), help ensure that the solutions work successfully once the buying decision has been made (the post-sales role); and to reassure the customer satisfaction, with the ultimate goal: help growing sales


  • The range of products concerned is all the products of the portfolio of the company TIG with a primary focus on commercial Crestron products.

  • To show our quality products to the world we have fully equipped experience spaces with the latest products. Keeping these spaces up and running and ensuring the best experience for our customers is part of your role.


  • Updating and testing gear for Proof Of Concepts and assist Regional Sales Managers


  • When partners are demanding a training on “Programming” the Crestron hardware you may need to go to site from time to time.

Job Requirements

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in the residential AV industry

·       Fluent in English, Italian.

·       IT Networking skills

·       Crestron Programming skills (SimplWin, C#,…)

·       Programming skills

·       Willing to travel and work in a global team of professionals

·       Able to work in a fast-moving environment

·       Creative, responsible and self-motivated

·       Commercial and technical mindset, passionate about our products

·       Open minded and a real team player

·       Able to prioritize and manage time effectively
