Crestron Expands Portfolio of Microsoft Teams Certified Devices with Crestron Flex Conference Systems Featuring Jabra PanaCast 50 Video Bars
Crestron and Jabra partner to deliver ideal intelligent video solution for smaller meeting rooms.
Crestron Electronics announces Microsoft Teams® Room Certification for the Crestron Flex Conference System with Jabra® PanaCast 50 Video Bars as the latest advancement in the companies’ partnership. The PanaCast 50 video bar was recently added to the Crestron Flex Digital Workplace platform to deliver an impressive intelligent video experience and this latest certification makes this the ideal solution for smaller spaces. As part of the Crestron Flex portfolio, the Jabra solution adds to Crestron’s scalable digital workplace platform which provides a consistent Microsoft Teams® Room solution for every space.
“The Jabra PanaCast 50 provides robust AI-based audio and video features for these smaller spaces, along with an incredible 180° field of view that is able to capture each attendee huddled around the table,” says Alex Peras, Senior Director of UC & Corporate Development Partnerships at Crestron. “With the added reliability of the Crestron Flex platform and the consistency of the Microsoft Teams experience, this solution bundle will be a disruptor across the industry in these key collaboration spaces.”
The new hybrid work and learning practices have required the need for equity in video conferencing that puts all meeting attendees on an equal footing. This means no participant is left unseen or unheard and intelligent solutions are a key driver in facilitating that experience for remote and in-person participants. The PanaCast 50 features a uniquely advanced system architecture that powers a range of intelligent features including Intelligent Zoom that automatically adjusts the video stream to follow the flow of the meeting and Virtual Director, which helps people follow and participate in the flow of conversation naturally. In a collaboration with Microsoft, Dynamic Composition is the latest addition, which will enable Teams users joining meetings remotely to view up to four of the most recent speakers face-to-face, matching the view of front-facing personal video conferencing cameras.
“As companies worldwide navigate the changing nature of work, they will need to ensure employees are able to collaborate and communicate with ease,” says Aurangzeb Khan, SVP of Intelligent Vision Systems at Jabra. “With Teams certification for the combination of our PanaCast 50 and the Crestron Flex Conference System businesses now have an industry standard for their collaboration and meeting room needs.”
