TIG & Crestron partner with AVIXA Women’s Council to celebrate International Women’s Day 2022

This week TIG was delighted to collaborate with Crestron and AVIXA Women’s Council to host an evening of discussion to mark International Women’s Day 2022.

The event aimed to recognise inspirational women in the AV industry and share thoughts on how we can #breakthebias (the theme for this year’s International Women’s Day) in the workplace.

Guests were encouraged to register their attendance on the AVIXA website and were welcomed to the Crestron training office in Weybridge, UK, where the event saw three speakers share their personal experiences and explain their views on what bias looks like to them.

The inspirational panel included the following speakers:

• Anna Shahin, Application Support Engineer at Audiologic and Rising Star of the Year at the AV Magazine Awards 2021.
• Burcu Koksal, Finance Director at Display Manager Ltd
• Jon Sidwick, President of Collabtech Group and Chair of the Leadership Search Committee at AVIXA
