Crestyl is a Czech real estate developer specialising in multipurpose residential, retail and commercial environments.
Its projects are synonymous with high quality, attention to detail, stylish design and modern solutions.
One of the company’s biggest ventures, the DOCK project, is an attractive assemblage of residential and commercial buildings located at the blind arm of the Vltava River in Prague. Here, Crestyl commissioned a brand-new office development for employees to collaborate and meet with clients. The company enlisted the help of LANGARD, the largest integrator in the Czech Republic, to deploy a range of AV and Unified Communications equipment that would provide reliable and easy-to-use collaboration solutions. It also wanted to add the ‘wow factor’ to a highly specified public area, with a state-of-the-art video wall.
In Crestyl’s original offices, the staff were already accustomed to using Crestron Mercury. The high levels of user satisfaction in this system was a determining factor in the type of equipment desired for the new meeting spaces. LANGARD installed a full Crestron solution including Crestron Mercury, Crestron Flex Tabletop UC Video Conference System for Microsoft Teams, and Crestron Soundbars. In addition, four mini meeting rooms were set up for BYOD conference calls.
The second important factor for this project was to deploy an impressive, integrated AV technology solution for the public space, where clients would be hosted. The mission was to leave a lasting impression by showcasing Crestyl’s capabilities in a striking way. This is where TIG’s expertise of integrating other brands into the Crestron ecosystem came into play: LANGARD installed a video wall equipped with the sci-fi style Oblong Mezzanine control interface, run on Crestron AirMedia technology. This enables Crestyl employees to deliver a revolutionary presentation experience for clients. While bringing together flawless video, plans and designs, staff can simultaneously communicate with colleagues around the world (securely via their own devices), meaning they can jointly present and comment on blueprints, design concepts and mood-boards.
With the need for reliable and attractive solutions at the core of this project, Crestyl and LANGARD worked closely together to select technologies that would integrate seamlessly to provide an unforgettable experience for both staff and clients. The combination of Crestron and Oblong technologies achieved just this - an outstanding user experience with no compromises.
LANGARD was able to create a workplace that merges thoughtful, stylish design with a high quality and consistent experience in every space – leaving a lasting impression on users and visitors. The return on investment has been significant for Crestyl, as the project has brought great practical benefits to the way in which staff collaborate, as well as new tools that improve communication with clients.
