TIG holds Elite Partners Event in Dubai

Technological Innovations Group (TIG) has welcomed over 65 AV industry representatives from the Nordics, East Europe, Russia, Middle East and South Africa to The Crestron Elite Partners Summit in Dubai.

With a focus on Crestron, the AV integrator partners attending discovered the latest details on the vision of TIG and how their business can further grow and prosper with Crestron.

Leading the conference were TIG’s CEO Robin van Meeuwen, alongside Dirk Hendrickx, TIG’s Crestron Vice President of Sales, and Crestron’s Stijn Ooms, Director of Technology. They provided key updates from the company, projections on industry trends, and details of products that are set to launch in 2020.

Attendees were presented with information about TIG’s sales strategy and ongoing investments for growth and Crestron’s strategic product roadmap.

“It was an extremely great event bringing all these partners together to share the vision and connect people from so many countries,” said Robin van Meeuwen. “Dubai has been a wonderful location for the event and, it’s important for Technological Innovations Group to host such strategic events for our partners ensuring they are up to date with industry and technology trends.”

Mr van Meeuwen continued: “Events such as this brings us closer to our key partners and hope to inspire them to drive business forward.”

Special guest at the event was Gaurab Majumdar, Regional Director AVIXA, India and GCC who delivered an engaging presentation on AVIXA’ s perspective on AV Trends. Mr Majumdar commented: “This type of event served as a great opportunity for AVIXA to help business owners understand the size, direction and composition of the larger pro-AV industry by highlighting EMEA’s AV market trends from our Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis (IOTA) reports”.

“The IOTA report insights are essential to businesses, as they shape strategic planning for geographic, product or service expansion within the pro-AV industry,” he concluded.

Yuri Kryat joins TIG Russia as Regional Sales Manager

Yuri Kryat joins TIG Russia as Regional Sales Manager

Yuri’s role will involve actively working with dealers as an account manager and implementing TIG’s sales plan to attract new customers and end users. He will be promoting the range of integrated AV and communications solutions that the company offers, as well as conducting training and marketing exercises, and participating in regional seminars and exhibitions.

Reporting to Sergey Kuptsov, the Sales Director for the region, Yuri brings many years’ experience working for systems integrators and in AV and business development.

“I am very pleased to join the TIG team. It gives a great opportunity to use all of my knowledge and experience gained over my years working in the audio, video and communications solutions market,” comments Yuri.

Sergey Kuptsov added: “Yuri is a great addition to our team. His experience will be a huge benefit to our customers in Russia and we’re looking forward to his contribution to our strategy to offer exciting new technologies to this region.”

Chris Henderson joins TIG

Chris Henderson joins TIG's UK residential team as Regional Sales Manager

We are pleased to announce that Chris Henderson has joined TIG as Regional Sales Manager for the Residential market. Focussing on UK sales projects, Chris will work as part of the residential sales team and brings previous AV/IT experience to the role.

Building on a university degree in IT, Chris brings expert experience to the role, having previously worked as a technical support engineer for Crestron. His in-depth technical expertise adds great value to the residential sales force, and he also benefits from a wealth of industry contacts gained during his recent experience with a specialist IT acquisition firm.

Reporting to Phil Pini, Sales Manager Residential UK and Ireland, Chris will oversee a campaign to develop, report and forecast residential projects while acting as the main point of contact for customers and managing the relationship throughout the process.

“I am hugely looking forward to getting stuck into this new role. I aim to bring enthusiasm and passion, and I’m especially looking forward to speaking directly with end users,” said Chris.

Phil Pini added: “Chris will be a great addition to the team, combining exceptional technical knowledge with a strong ability to understand client requirements. Having worked with Chris before during his time on our technical support desk on many occasions he demonstrated the aptitude to not only resolve the problem at hand, but also encourage further training and exposure to new products and solutions. TIG welcomes AV engineering expert to its French team

TIG France has strengthened its technical expertise team with the addition of Eric Feret as Sales Engineer. Based in France, Eric will act as technical contact for customers in the design and specification phase of projects in the commercial and residential markets. TIG is the exclusive sale agency for Crestron in EMEA, and also represents Mezzanine by Oblong Industries in the region.

Reporting to Kevin Huysegoms, Manager Sales Engineering, Eric’s role will consist of supporting the regional market penetration strategy in France, in close collaboration with local sales managers. Eric brings 18 years of experience within technical, managerial and digital positions, as well as being accredited with leading industry certifications.
“I’m delighted to be joining TIG as a Sales Engineer and I’m looking forward to providing technical and administrative support alongside team members to clients,” comments Eric Feret.
Having worked with a plethora of technology throughout his career including networks, digital signage and IT systems, Eric is ideally placed to keep customers informed of the latest technologies and solutions available in the AV industry.

Please welcome Maksim Kiselev who is joining TIG as Regional Sales Manager. Based in Russia, Maksim will drive customer acquisition and revenue growth, while striving to further develop the business in the CIS region.

Maksim has over 20 years’ experience in the IT market which will be fundamental to adequately advise customers on TIG’s solutions including Crestron and Mezzanine by Oblong.

His strong background in the industry highlights his ability to build and sustain professional relationships with key business stakeholders. In previous roles, Maksim has been heavily involved in following projects from concept to completion ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

TIG is pleased to announce the appointment of Christophe Fortune to the position of Regional Sales Manager for France and Iberia. Reporting directly to Steven Dullaert, Christophe will focus on driving sales of Oblong’s Mezzanine solution.

With over 20 years of experience in the telecom and IT industry, Christophe is well versed in the industry. His background in business development, predominantly on IT digital transformation projects and the integration of unified communications solutions will prove valuable in identifying and maintaining key business partnerships. The role requires Christophe to support TIG in meeting company-wide revenue growth targets, alongside working to develop and implement business plans to increase profitability in the south west region. Christophe will drive sales from concept to completion and will draw on his prior knowledge of the market to identify new leads.
